Origin Story
With 13 years of immersion in the Irish foster care system, Josh, 20 and founder of RESQUED, has been inspired to take action. In October 2022, during his first year of college, Josh found himself with plenty of free time and a yearning for purpose. Driven by a desire to fill the emptiness, he embarked on a transformative journey that led to the creation of RESQUED in March 2023.
RESQUED isn’t just a clothing brand; it’s a movement of Social Change. With each piece crafted sustainably, Josh channels the profound values of Foster Care into unique designs and powerful messages. Our mission? To reduce Stigma surrounding Foster Care through streetwear fashion.

The Founder
Meet Josh Farrell - the Founder and CEO of RSQD Ltd. (Trading Name: RESQUED). Josh set up this company to promote the positive impact of Foster Care (when done right). For instance, Such values like Hope & Change were a big part of his foster care childhood. Hope reminds him of his Adoption while Change reminds him of his younger life in Foster Care. Through his time in Family-based alternative care (Foster Care & Adoption), both fundamental values (Change & Hope) had a special place in his heart. And Josh, starting up this company, wanted to share the significance & values of Foster Care with others. Josh wishes to Inspire Change and Spread Hope. Based on his own Care-experienced journey, Josh believes that Change itself, can be a form of being rescued and Hope is the driving force behind Change. Join Josh and Embrace the RESQUED Journey !
