Welcome to the RESQUED BLOG! My name is Josh Farrell and I hope you all enjoy RESQUED's Blog content; written by both my friend Nathan (my good friend) and I. I do hope you can take bits and parts to mind along the way! And now for a quick overview of these blogs: every month, RESQUED will post 1-2 posts per month, spanning from this month(June) to August (End of SS'24 Launch). The 2^nd blog per month will be around poetry. Now with that out of the way, may the RESQUED BLOG commence!

Before my company’s introduction, I’d just like to give a big, warm, open thank you to all the those who've supported my transformational journey. Thank You for being there. Thank you for giving an ear and your time. Thank you for sticking it out when I may have been misread by others. I've found your care and consideration to be of immense value.

Now then, onto the company itself....

The RESQUED Brand              

 (RSQD Ltd.) RESQUED, Est. 2023, was founded by me, Josh Farrell. As CEO (Chief Everything Officer) and Chief Visionary, I am the driving force behind the company. I keep my hands full through the development of RESQUED's sustainable company's infrastructure, sales, marketing, ethical decision-making processes and customer experience strategies. To get to where I am today with my company, I have internalised quality knowledge from my current college course (International Business and French - currently in 3rd Year). I have also been kindly provided grateful access to a personal mentor whom keeps in touch. Additionally, I've attended webinars, classes and done courses (in-person and online) to further build up my solo, social entrepreneurial skills. 

RESQUED Meaning

RESQUED - The word "rescued" is a universal term, meaning roughly the same thing in any nation, culture, language. Rescued means being delivered from a troubled or difficult time to a safer, securer one. At RESQUED, we embrace the ethos of, "Adopting hope & Fostering Change".

Being rescued is as significant as the Life-Changing Hope it can bring and here at RESQUED, we want to capture that epic moment. “For me, being RESQUED was my fostercare-to-adoption journey in whole and ending in victory when I got adopted last year (2022). It was a real blessing as one cannot get adopted when one turns 18.... 3 days before my 18th birthday I got adopted! The relief that came with adoption, has been beyond expression. Stability, Certainty and Security have been few of the great outcomes. And, without adoption, I would not have had no legal ties to my long-term foster family – a family who’ve taken me in as one of their own since day one and given me a fresh start which I’ll be forever grateful for. ,” Josh - Founder –

RESQUED's Purpose                      

As the only Irish clothing brand with a primary focus on acknowledging Foster Care, it exists "to promote the Universal Values and significance of Foster Care reduce the stigma of Foster Care”. Resulting from this, we wish to embrace the new frontiers and outcomes; outcomes that bring further Acknowledgment, Warmth, Security and Stability that come with any Life Changed within Foster Care.

The Positive impact of FosterCare and Adoption                

Both Fostering & Adoption hold a necessary service to any country and without it, certain kids wouldn’t receive the Belonging and Warmth otherwise felt in suitable settlements, homes and families. Certain Kids would also be left vulnerable and taken advantage of; being subject to tragic dangers ranging from home abuse and malnutrition to homelessness and human trafficking.
